Japanese Vibe in LA's Little Tokyo

Little Tokyo in L.A. is seeking to get back the Japanese vibe in the place. Neighborhood leaders says the Nikkei Center ($300 million project of complex of apartments, shops and public areas) is the last hope to maintain the community's strong Japanese character.

Bill Watanbe, president of Little Tokyo Services Center, said that they would like to have a Japanese touch or flavor but not the pagoda sort of thing.

Entertainment Revolution in Downtown L.A. through Versus

Clubs and bars are a a great business to invest with. Planning and implementation of this though is not easy considering all known business and community factors. One upcoming night club sill soon be making noise in the field of clubbing and entertainment in downtown Los Angeles. Versus will soon be opening but the three story establishment has already receive various of complaints regarding noise issues from nearby lofts and communities. Clinton Street, Lower East Side

Any person who has lived in New York City long enough probably heard of Lower East Side already. This neighborhood was once dominated by immigrant minorities and working-class families.

Due to gentrification, however, restaurants and bars have lined up in the neighborhood, pumping up living costs.
